Board Member – Youth Empowerment & Digital Skills

Rachel Wairimu Muraguri is a dynamic educator and digital skills advocate with a strong track record in empowering Kenyan youth through technology. She currently teaches ICT programs across several TVET institutions in Kenya and has served as a certified trainer for the Jitume initiative — a government-led program aimed at equipping youth with digital skills for online jobs and entrepreneurship.

Previously, Rachel served as the Head of ICDL Foundation Programs at Karatina Institute of Technology, where she led efforts to raise digital competence among learners. Her leadership in digital literacy programs has also extended to grassroots initiatives, including the Empower Youth Africa program, where she helped train over 500 young people in Mathira Constituency, Nyeri.

Rachel holds a Bachelor’s degree in ICT from Dedan Kimathi University, an Advanced Diploma in Technical Training from the Kenya School of TVET, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Education at KCA University.

She brings a deep passion for technology and an unwavering commitment to mentoring youth who aspire to build impactful careers in tech.
