Grace Mumbua Mutiso

Grace Mumbua Mutiso

Board Member – Community Engagement & Youth Empowerment

Grace Mumbua Mutiso is a grassroots mobilizer and youth advocate with over 15 years of experience working with vulnerable communities in Kenya. She has dedicated her career to ensuring that young people in rural and informal settlements are equipped with the skills, tools, and mentorship they need to thrive in a changing world.

Grace is the founder of Tumaini Youth Empowerment Network, a community-based organization in Machakos County that has trained hundreds of youth in digital skills, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. Through her leadership, the organization has successfully partnered with NGOs, churches, and county governments to run high-impact mentorship programs for school leavers and unemployed youth.

She holds a Diploma in Community Development and has completed certifications in Project Management, Gender and Development, and AI for Social Good from UN-backed platforms. Grace brings an unmatched understanding of ground-level realities and helps AI Know Zone Foundation design inclusive training programs that resonate with and uplift disadvantaged communities.

Her strength lies in building trust, mobilizing local leaders, and turning ideas into action — ensuring that no young person is left behind in the AI-powered future.
