AI in Education (Schools & TVETs)

Education is the foundation of every thriving society—but without AI, our classrooms risk falling dangerously behind.

We are on a mission to future-proof learning in Africa by integrating Artificial Intelligence into both secondary schools and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.

For Schools:

We train teachers and educators to harness AI as a teaching assistant—automating lesson planning, customizing learning paths for students, and bringing creativity back into the classroom. We also introduce teens and high school learners to safe, age-appropriate AI tools that build curiosity, digital fluency, and critical thinking from an early age.

For TVETs:

We equip TVET students with AI-powered tools tailored to skilled trades such as agriculture, health care, hospitality, logistics, and construction. Imagine a future farmer using AI to predict crop yields, or a construction trainee using generative AI to design safer buildings. That’s the world we are preparing them for—a world where hands-on skills meet intelligent technology.

Why It Matters:

  • Bridging the Digital Divide: Our AI in Education initiative (we fondly call it AiSi) brings AI literacy and tools/technology to even the most underserved communities.
  • Enhancing Teaching Capacity: By upskilling teachers, we multiply their impact and help them embrace technology—not fear it.
  • Economic Transformation: A generation of AI-literate students means a workforce ready to innovate, solve problems, and lift Africa into a new era of growth.

If Kenya—and Africa—are to compete in the 21st-century economy, AI must become a cornerstone of our education systems. That’s the future we’re building—one student, one classroom, one institution at a time.
