How AI works (simple demos).
- Ethics, privacy, and responsible use.
- Use cases in trades (mechanical, electrical, building technology, hospitality, ICT).

Using AI Assistants (ChatGPT GPTs, Gemini, Claude)

Generating technical guides and step-by-step repair manuals.
- Translating technical documents into local languages.
- Drafting professional business plans and client proposals.
- Simulating customer service interactions for a small business- This exercise uses AI to train their soft skills and business acumen, making them a more complete professional.

AI for Job Readiness

Crafting Winning CVs: Using AI to highlight technical skills and create professional, ATS-friendly resumes.
Ace the Interview: Practicing with AI to answer common interview questions, build confidence, and develop compelling narratives about their skills.

Create Your AI Apprentice: Building No-Code Tools for Your Trade

Hands-on Innovation: A student builds an AI model relevant to their trade that, for example, classifies tools or helps diagnose simple faults.
- Demo: Create a simple model to recognize sounds, images, patterns, etc. (Train a simple, no-code AI tool using a smartphone to inspect work, classify tools, diagnose common faults, etc.—turning your phone into a powerful assistant.)

Graduates of this workshop will see AI as their co-worker, business partner, and research assistant rolled into one. Instead of replacing them, it augments their skills, making them more competitive, innovative, and effective from their first day on the job.
