At AI Know Zone Foundation, we saw this coming.
We saw how entry-level jobs are disappearing, how AI technology is replacing repetitive roles, and how automation is creating a future where only those with digital and AI literacy will survive, let alone thrive.
We also saw something painfully clear: a massive gap.
A gap between raw potential and real opportunity. Between Africa’s vibrant, brilliant youth and the future-ready skills they desperately and urgently need to survive and thrive in a new AI-powered World.

AI Know Zone Foundation was born from urgency — and hope. Urgency, because the future is racing toward us powered by AI, and too many young Africans are watching it pass them by.
Hope, because we believe those same young people have what it takes not just to survive this shift — but to lead it.
Founded by passionate AI advocates working with a team of professionals in diverse fields who care deeply about the future of Africa’s youth, we are on a mission to make AI literacy and opportunity reachable for every young person, no matter where they come from. Especially those forgotten by the system.

According to the World Economic Forum, AI and automation are expected to disrupt 85 million jobs globally by 2025 — but they’ll also create 97 million new roles that demand entirely new sets of digital and cognitive skills. The future isn’t about fewer jobs — it’s about different jobs.
Now imagine this: In much of Africa, this shift is happening without adequate preparation.
Millions of young people — bright, capable, eager — are being left out of this emerging AI-driven economy simply because they lack access, exposure, or training.
This is the gap we’re closing. Because the future won’t wait — and neither should they.
We work on the ground. In real communities. With real people.
We train, mentor, and equip youth with practical, in-demand AI skills that open doors — to remote jobs in AI, full-time AI supported roles, digital entrepreneurship, and high-impact AI innovations.
Our targeted interventions range from grassroots training initiatives for in/out-of-school youths and small youth-owned businesses to ambitious efforts to bring AI awareness into Kenyan schools and support teachers with new tools for the classroom.
But we don’t stop at training.
