Dr. Patrick Kinyua is a finance and corporate governance expert with over 18 years of experience in financial management, investment strategy, and nonprofit oversight. He brings a wealth of expertise in structuring sustainable funding models for social enterprises and ensuring strong financial accountability in mission-driven organizations.
Dr. Patrick Kinyua holds a PhD. (Finance) from Karatina University, MBA(Finance) from Karatina University, BBM (Finance) from Karatina University, and a Dip (Co-operative Management) from Co-operative University.
He is also a Certified Public Accountant-CPA(K) besides having a couple of professional certifications including in Data Protection.
His specific expertise is in Fintech(financial technology), Blockchain Technology, and data-driven analytics solutions.
He has worked a couple of Digital Lending companies, and Banks where he has been in charge of projects involving data-driven product developments.
Dr Kinyua also lectures at Karatina University and Co-operative University of Kenya.
He has served as Finance Director for several regional NGOs and sat on the boards of youth-focused initiatives funded by major development partners, including GIZ and USAID. His background also includes consultancy work in SACCO development, budgeting for donor-funded programs, and risk compliance.
